Haixi Hi-Tech Industry Park is located in the central town of Fuzhou and at the west bank of Wulong River; it stays in the primary direction of Fuzhou’s future outward development, adjacent to university town and the future urban sub-centers – Nanyu and Nantong, also close to downtown area; it will become a core functional zone and the city image showcase for south Fuzhou region. The core design concept based on preserving the existing ecological site, and then connects each cluster and riverfront green spaces by the hanging corridors that shuttle through scientific research buildings and create a “Green Belt” winding through the air of park area. Under the belt there is a exquisitely designed eco-space of the park, including eco-corridor, park greens, eco-wetlands etc. together with the green belt it formed a well-rounded ecological space and green landscape system for the park, and constructed a communication-friendly exterior space with multiple content. The construction of hanging corridors adopted technologies of roof greening and solar photovoltaic, which represents the advanced technological level of the park, shows a future urban image and highlights a core landscape structure with energy conservation and environmental protection concepts.
